I attended a Social Media for Non-Profits boot camp.
I did not realize that I was a Twitter Superstar. I got to meet David Neff (@daveIAM) who at the American Marketing Associations annual meeting was honored as Non-Profit Social Media Marketer of the year.
It sure was pawsome meeting someone like that! WOW
Dave asked if I could deliver a lecture on Twitter as the presenter who was supposed to do the session had to leave. So I stepped in and gave a rousing lecture on how Twitter has helped to transform my life.
I talked all about how through my travels that I had built a community that was interested in my adventures.
I told about my travels and all the people I had met. Being non-profits I told them that it was important
that to build a following you need to have a good story and to tweet about interesting things.
I got a standing applause when it was done. I was so proud!!
When I was done I got to meet several of the attendees for private chats.
One was someone who had adopted a Lab from Heart of Texas Lab Rescue and had met me at the
Fund raiser I attended for them on November 7th, what a small world we live in!
I will write more, I am busy scheduling my travel plans and arrangements!
Love, Pups

Great post! Very proud of pup for the charitable efforts. I am thinking how I could get my Labrador Retriever puppies to do something cool like that
