Woof,I am going to visit a new Pal named Demo, a happy schnauzer and his mom is a Marine!
Here is the story they did on their site about my visit to the Marine Base in June!
This week I found out about this great blog that I think only a stick in the mud wouldn’t enjoy (you’re not a stick in the mud are you?).
Pups the traveling labrador started out like any other stuffed lab, sitting patiently in a little shop, hoping that some loving hands would pick him up and take him to a warm and cuddly home. What good fortune for him that Paula just so happened to have those hands!
Over the past several years Pups has traveled to, “Germany, Ireland, Estonia, Poland,Estonia, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, England, Switzerland, Australia, Japan, Canada, Barbados, St. Kitts, Caracos, Antigua, San Fransisco, Seattle, Kansas, New York, Wisconsin, Texas, Connecticut, Disney World, Epcot Center, Florida, Tennessee, New Jersey, Las Vegas, Washington, California, Texas, Colorado, Iowa, Jamaica, Cozumel, Dominica, A Relay for Life Race, Attended a Wedding, I even applied at Harvard Law School, Boston, Alcatraz, Chicago… too many places to list!”
Pups travels with his own suitcase full of clothes and spends a week with his host family, who shows him around their city. When Pups isn’t posing for pictures in some of the most famous places in the world, he is working on writing children’s books about his adventures. What a entrepreneur! The Pet Pod Cast Channel has even declared him a good will ambassador.
Pup’s will be coming to stay with me at the end of June! Can you imagine how excited I am? A celebrity in my own house. I think the only person more excited them me is Demo who let out a happy schnauzer “roo-roo” when I told him.
I’ll be taking Pups around my old Marine Corps base when he arrives. He’ll get to grapple with the Marines, meet some drill instructors, play an instrument, try out the obstacle course, meet the base mascot Pvt Belleau Wood, and even attend graduation! I think I’m more excited the Pups is. Semper Fi(do)!
